#1 Medieval Combat with Dayna Berghan-Whyman
Dayna lives in Upper Hutt, and works from home, mainly in her pyjamas, as a Contract Data Wrangler. She lives with her husband Phil, daughter Freya, and an incredibly large Norwegian Forest Cat named Tasha. Dayna’s hobby for the most part of 10+ years has been medieval re-enactment, and the sport of medieval combat. Dayna is currently working towards the goal of making the team to represent New Zealand in Denmark in May 2017 at the International Medieval Combat Federation World Championship. Dayna actively works to encourage more women to join the sport of medieval combat in New Zealand.
So long! I had to edit half an hour out. Turns out I picked a talkative and engaging first guest. I promise I got better at watching the clock for the second interview. Regardless, Dayna and I enjoyed a great chat over NZ Breakfast tea from T Leaf T and yum scones (first batch: a success!) with Bachman's jam.
