#16 Villains with Laura Irish

#16 Villains with Laura Irish

The Guest

Laura Irish is an award-winning actress, improviser and playwright based in Nelson, NZ. She is the recently appointed Artistic Director of the Nelson Fringe Festival. Laura is a Shakespeare addict and has just finished playing her patronus, Robin Goodfellow (A Puck) in Nelson Summer Shakespeare's extremely popular production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. She is also wife to journalist, Charles Anderson and mama to the coolest duo in Middle Earth, Elijah and Ivie.

The Chat

Laura is another of my favourite humans and she is at my house right now getting ready to do Deep Space Naenae, which she very kindly came to Wellington to do with a lot of other great improvisors. She is one of the hardest working people I know, and it was great to pick her brain about the things she does that are outside of our usual connection.
